A media wall, also called an LCD wall, turns the TV wall into the focal point of your lounge. Crystal Interior designs and builds TV media walls in Lahore and Rawalpindi in five styles: modern minimalist units, fluted and louver panel walls, marble and porcelain sheet walls, full wall storage units and electric fireplace walls. Wiring is hidden and the lighting is planned in 3D before we build.
Modern minimalist wall units
A floating TV console, a clean backdrop and concealed storage. Ideal when you want the room to feel calm and uncluttered, with a soft cove light washing the wall.
Fluted and louver panel walls
Vertical wooden, WPC or charcoal louvers with warm LED lines between them add texture and depth. A Google reviewer describes the charcoal louvers and classic molding we installed in their lounge.
Marble and porcelain sheet walls
Large format marble-look porcelain sheets behind the TV give a hotel lounge feel with very few joints, and they are easy to clean.
Full wall storage units
Floor to ceiling cabinets and open display shelves around the TV. Perfect for families who need storage for books, decor, gaming and electronics.
Electric fireplace integrated walls
An electric fireplace built in below or beside the TV, framed in stone, marble sheet or wood, for warmth and a strong design statement.
LCD wall design ideas for TV lounges
Most clients come to us after searching LCD wall design, TV wall design or TV unit design. The right choice depends on the room and how you use it:
| Idea | Best for | What it includes |
|---|---|---|
| Floating TV console design | Small lounges and apartments | A wall-hung console with drawers, open floor below and a lit backdrop |
| TV cabinet design with storage | Family TV lounges | Closed cabinets for the receiver, router and games, open shelves for decor |
| Fluted panel LCD wall | Modern lounges | Vertical panels with warm LED lines and hidden wiring |
| Marble sheet TV wall | Drawing rooms and formal lounges | Large porcelain or marble-look sheets with few joints |
| Bedroom TV wall | Master bedrooms | A slim TV unit designed with the wardrobe or bed back wall |
What we plan before we build
We start with the TV size and the viewing distance from your sofa, so the screen sits at a comfortable height. Then we plan where the cables, set-top box, router and sound bar go, so no wires show. Lighting is designed at the same time. Finally we match the wall to your false ceiling and flooring so the room feels finished.
Materials compared
| Material | Look | Good to know |
|---|---|---|
| Fluted or louver panels (WPC, wood) | Warm texture, vertical lines | Pairs beautifully with LED profiles |
| Marble or porcelain sheet | Luxury stone look | Large panels with few joints, easy to clean |
| UV high-gloss panels | Sleek and reflective | Bright modern finish |
| PU or fabric panels | Soft and quiet | Improves the room acoustics |

Media walls: frequently asked questions
What is a media wall?
A designed TV wall that combines the TV, storage, decorative panels and lighting into one built-in feature, with the wiring hidden inside.
Can you hide all the TV wires?
Yes. We plan conduits and cable spaces before installation so the TV, receiver and sound bar connect with no wires showing.
Can you add an electric fireplace?
Yes. Electric fireplaces can be built into the media wall below or beside the TV.
What lighting do you use in media walls?
Usually warm LED strips in profiles or coves, plus spotlights for display shelves, planned in the 3D design.
Do you make media walls for bedrooms too?
Yes. Bedroom TV walls are often combined with the wardrobe or a bed back feature wall.
